You need to be a candidate belonging to India. You could also belong to PIO or OCI.
You should have passed 10+2 or equivalent level examinations with the science stream in the current or preceding year. The board that you are giving exams for must have recognition from the Council of Boards of School Education in India.
Candidates need to take at least three among Physics, Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
You need to attain at least 60% of the marks in your board examination if you are in the GEN/OBC category.
If you are from SC/ST/PwD category you need to score at least 55% in the qualifying examination.
If you are not an Indian candidate then you need to clear IIT JEE(Advanced) in order to get admission to IISER.
