5. Connect the Pump Choose pipe pieces that have the necessary shape and length to attach the pump to both the house's water system and the water supply line. To seal all the pipe threads before you connect them, use a Teflon tape as well as a wrench for tightening all the connections.
6. Turn on the Water Plug the cord of the pump into an electrical outlet, and turn the water supply back on after it has been securely installed. Now, leave the faucets open and let the air seep out of the pipes, and then close the faucets for once and for all and then turn on the pump.
