What Is The Mid-Atlantic Marketing Summit? |
Posted: April 23, 2019 |
The Mid-Atlantic Marketing Summit is one of the largest gatherings of executives in the communications and marketing industries. Running over the course of an entire day, and with representatives coming from across the Mid-Atlantic region and further afield for the discussions, it is truly an unmissable event for anyone interested in such topics. At the summit, discussions are focused on high-level issues through a number of means, including panels, presentations, exhibits, keynotes and good old-fashioned networking. Some of the most notable attendees include the top Mid-Atlantic minds in marketing and communications and the leaders of the highest ranking brands, with the heads of new brands also making appearances. In fact, in previous years over 60% of all the attendees have—at some point in time—been involved in management. Topics on discussion usually include the challenges facing CMOs; integrating sales and marketing together; methods of automation in marketing; SEO; the use of email-based marketing; design/UX; social media and its uses for marketing and communications; and many more. The Mid-Atlantic Marketing Summit often refers to itself fondly as being home to the “future of marketing”, and it is organized and run by two of the most influential conference producers in Washington DC: Potomac Techwire and Capitol Communicator. With their combined expertise in the fields of technology and general conference management, this partnership creates a truly extraordinary event which draws large numbers of attendees. The Mid-Atlantic Marketing Summit is primarily aimed at those who are involved in marketing—such as executives or brand marketers—as well as those individuals who work in the following fields:
The summit is funded by paid entry tickets, usually costing between $250 and $330, and sponsorship by other companies looking to advertise their product or brand. Sponsorship fees start from $2,000 for the day event for a silver sponsorship, right up to the platinum level at $5,000 for the day. Current, known sponsors of the event include some notable names in the business industry, including (but not limited to) Adobe, the American Marketing Association, Hagopian Marketing, The Mather Group, Smithgifford, Hbp and Podcast Village. The event is to be held at the NEA Conference Center in Washington D.C. Parking facilities are provided in the form of close-by garages. The event organizers recommend instead that those interested take the Metro service where possible.
