The flight services at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (SSR) resumed after a brief suspension of on January 17 as Mauritius was put on alert for a possible tropical cyclone 'Berguitta'. According to reports, Port Louis Harbour, which is the main port was also closed. It is the country's principal shipping gateway that handles about 99 percent of the overall volume of cargo.
