For those unfamiliar with Austen's work and wishing to procure an appreciation of this most wonderful writer, here are my suggestions in which order to read the books.
But if what happened to you was so detrimental that it could have cost you your business, then you MUST speak out. The problem with this world is that too many people find themselves the victims of fraud or worse and just shrug their shoulders. They don't even give a second thought to how devastating it could be to another person if the same thing happened to them. Apathy is a terrible thing and there's too much of it in this world.
Have you ever known of a child who talks about having invisible friends? They may not be invisible to them. Watch young children, dogs, and cats suddenly look directly at something that we cannot see. They say that dogs and cats can see spirits. I believe many young children can see spirits as well - until it gets socialized out of them.
Here is the update. You just never know when the wind will change and all of a sudden what you thought was important before, doesn't even matter anymore.
If you fail, all that happens is that you go work for the aforementioned 40-something in corporate, take your 401(k) that won't make you rich, your 5,000 stock options and a health care plan that won't charge you a penny, in case you're ever in a 30-traffic pile up.
I am not recommending Ouija boards as the way to go. I think there is a real danger involved to vulnerable people with low self-esteems. There are a lot of wonderful spirits out there. There are also darker spirits who are bored. Those dark spirits would like nothing more than to mess with the minds of unwary people. In other words, use an Ouija board with caution.
Downstairs in the lobby my spirits picked up a little. This hotel was so nicely decorated--old western antiques everywhere. I was getting that "Nevada" feeling. It's a wonderful feeling that you don't really get in Las Vegas. These small towns, and even Reno, have a wonderful flavor all their own. You feel a part of their culture and a part of their history. It was a nice feeling of belonging. I was glad we were here. It felt safe and familiar.
Accessible from shore, this old wreck is a must-see. At a stunning 300 feet in length, this steam ship is older than the Titanic. The only downside to diving this wreck is that it rests in a harbor entrance. You'll need a guide for this one and Tours are available on Sundays.
