DUBAI INTERNATIONAL HORSE FAIR 2019 The Dubai International Horse Fair was held over three days and showcased for the authenticity, beauty, and elegance of the most prestigious Arabian horses worldwide. The prizes will be worth AED 15 million, equivalent to USD 4 million. This thrilling event is committed to the fields of horse breeding and equestrian sports not only in the Middle East but also all around the world." HOW DUBAI INTERNATIONAL HORSE FAIR STARTED? Introduced in 2003, Dubai International Horse Fair (DIHF) has rapidly exhibited its power in the equestrian specialization and attracted more than 10,000 visitors from 104 nations, 100 exhibitors from 25 countries with the participation of royalty, trade, the public, and VIPs. Equestrian Art Exhibition The Dubai International Horse Fair, which has a passion for horses, brought together their horse-inspired art in front of the Equestrian Regional Community and those interested in art. Artists show their work, made of various materials such as bronze, acrylic, copper, recycled horses, leather and others, at the expo, which ended on Saturday, March 23rd. Jack Art Gallery, Abu Dhabi for the first time, presents a unique collection of paintings depicting the nobility of Arabian horses. Jacques Lee, the artist, and teacher at Jack Art Gallery said: "The exhibition provides us with great opportunities to connect with potential collectors, especially those interested in equestrian art, and the culture and heritage of the UAE." The Magic of Architecture Fine Arts is from Canada to participate in the 12th Dubai International Horse Show, bringing with it an impressive collection of oil paintings that highlight the greatness of the Arabian horse. "I have been drawing Arabian horses for more than 28 years, and I have had great relationships with visitors from Dubai International Horse Show. This is the perfect place to meet customers and expand my knowledge network," said artist Ali Mohsen Al Mimar. The BabaArt exhibition, which is based in Belgium, will debut for the first time at the Dubai International Horse Fair and will present finely detailed sculptures of horses and camels using recycled horseshoe hugs painted in gold and black. "The Dubai International Horse Fair attracts a lot of horse enthusiasts like us," said Great Packer, an artist at Baba Art. "The show has given me the opportunity to showcase my art pieces to a wide range of fans fascinated by equestrian and horse-inspired art." The most expensive 280,000 dirhams The 2019 Dubai Horse Show spotlighted 110 horses from many local communities, and private stables from outside the country, and 90 horses were sold. Faisal Al Rahmani, director of the UAE Auction for Horse Auction, managed the auction with great success. The auction generated total sales of AED 4.25 million. The highest prices ranged from AED 180,000 to AED 280,000. The most expensive dowry and experienced sales were 280,000 dirhams 10 years, and 230 thousand dirhams for the skilled «ie. SALUKI DOGS The gigantic fete will now make a debut displaying the two of much-awarded elements of the falconry, world oldest hunting dogs the Saluki lead by Arabian Saluki Centre and United Arab of Emirates' heritage and culture for the first time this year. Saluki dogs are considered as one of the oldest breeds in the world. These dogs have been a great partner in the Arabian Peninsula by desert people. Much loved by Bedouin, the dog’s loyalty, speed, and intelligence are used the Saluki dogs for guarding, hunting guarding and other services for every day's walk of life. The name "Saluki" where the dog may have first been trained, derived from the city of Saluk of Yemen, in the Hadramout region, or "Bani Saluk" that the first tribe to domesticate the Saluki breed. This breed belongs to the Greyhound group of dogs. ARABIAN SALUKI CENTRE In 2001, the Arabian Saluki Centre provided to Saluki owners the resources, including animal registration, medical care, breeding, training and boarding in Abu Dhabi United Arab of Emirates. THE EXCITEMENT AND THRILLS IN DUBAI INTERNATIONAL HORSE FAIR The event expected that more visitors would participate and watch. The Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship is the most famous beauty contest for Arabian Purebred horses which takes place with the Horse Fair, from all national leaders of the equine world of Arabian. It will run throughout the three days, the Championship classes with $4million US dollars (AED15 million) prize money for winners and the Championship is expected to attract more attendance from equestrian enthusiasts internationally.
