Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, a Nashville down home music organization and world-popular honky-tonk, has worked over the rear way from the Ryman constantly since 1960. Its owner from 1960 to 1978, Hattie Louise "Tootsie" Bess, purchased the parlor called "Mom's" and named it for herself. As per convention, a painter erroneously painted the outside orchid purple. The shading was never showed signs of change and turned into Tootsie's mark shading. Throughout the years, she served such renowned clients as Kris Kristofferson, Faron Young, and Willie Nelson when they were still best in class specialists, and Tootsie was notable for her liberality toward battling performers. The photograph and memorabilia-lined dividers are classified "Tootsie's Wall of Fame." A part of the Loretta Lynn biopic "Coal Miner's Daughter" was shot inside Tootsie's.
