Covert Camera Apps You Should Know About |
Posted: November 21, 2019 |
How many times have you ever attempted to take a video or photos of another person with your phone without that person realizing? Sometimes, you can get away with it easily, but other times…it’s really hard. There are apps out there, called “ghost apps,” or “vault apps” which are covert or hidden and can help you get away with taking pictures and videos without the person knowing it. You then can hide the photos and videos in secret folders on your phone.
Say one of your kids has a friend over. That friend has a drug problem. That friend whips our his phone acting like he’s sending a text, but really, he’s using an app to take photos of your stuff, compromising your Home Security and sending those pics to his burglar buddy.
By using apps like Private Ninja Cam, or Top Secret Camera, you can spy on people you know. But it can get even more sinister, as many people who use these apps use it for porny or sexting activity.
On the flip side, this type of technology can be used for good. For example, people can use it to catch a cheating spouse or can capture photos of video of a babysitter abusing their charges. You can even use these apps to build up evidence for a lawsuit. For instance, if there is harassment going on at work, you can capture it right on film to use if you plan on suing. You might, for example, be sitting in your boss’s office. He might be angry and yelling at you for no reason, but you can record everything without him having any idea at all.
You have to be careful when using this practice, however. Some states have laws against it, especially when audio is captured.
How do you Get Away with Spying?
Once you take a photo, you can then hide them so that even if someone gets access to your phone, they can’t find the evidence because it is hidden. You can do this with apps like Keep Safe Private Photo Vault and Best Secret Folder.
Anyone snooping can’t get into these folders because they require a password. However, snoopers can also be tricked into not even seeing where these photos are stored, because the vault can look like another app. Some of these even take a photo of the person trying to get in or even will sound an alarm.
Think of all of the things a person could do with these apps. There are bad things, such as a skeezy guy sitting on the subway trying to take “upskirt” photos, but there are also good things, including capturing a crime in progress, recording mistreatment, or catching someone cheating on their spouse.
