(Guest Site by a girl who wishes to remain anonymous) Body Image Guest Blog by a Young Cheerleader: Young Cheerleader Struggles With Body Image - Most people think that the only ones with body problems are those who are either grossly heavy or anorexic. I'd like to be the first to tell you: that could not be farther from the truth. As someone who has been involved in sports in the age of 8, I have been conscious of my need to remain skinny. As an adult, I am still haunted by the voices from my past that continue to drive that point home. https://nudistclip.com/videos/just-like-every-other-man-2274.html was a "flyer" - the person that's lifted / propelled into a stunt. During any of these stuns, my bases made a comment about how heavy I was. Up until that point, I had never heard any negative messages linked to the way I looked. I was young at the time so it didn't register with me that those girls were possibly exaggerating, or perhaps even only whining. All I knew, from that stage on, was that I was heavy - FAT! Cheerleader And Her Body Image Puberty was perhaps the worst experience of my life. As a young woman's body begins to change shape, most girls undoubtedly start to feel a way of insecurity. No longer was I simply "The Short Skinny Woman Who Weighed More Than She Should". I was now also "The Short Skinny Girl with Big Boobs". It wasn't until I became a dancer that I started to understand that there was absolutely nothing wrong with me. https://nudebeach.cc/categories/real/4/ described how folks don't always factor in someone else's muscle mass when they evaluate their weight and that she endured as a result. I instantly identified with what she was saying. I felt a way of relief knowing that there was a valid reason behind my weight: I just had a lot of muscle mass.
Even though I will never forget the experiences of my past, I'm mindful of my own power over them. I shall probably always strive to stay thin, but no longer is it simply for a unique sake. I do want to be thin, but I want to be healthy and happy first. Possibly the nudists with this world have a better and healthier approach towards body image. I see that most naturists are considerably more accepting of their own body. I for one, feel that naturism, as a movement could instruct us none nudists a lot! Keep up the great work! Body Image is a large issue and I expect that one day we could all see people for who they are, not what they look like.
