Floor Your Bathroom Suite According To Your Bathroom Cladding |

Bathroom cladding is not complete on its own without the proper flooring option. The floor is quite sensitive since it not only harmonizes with your whole decor but it is also important in determining the safety of your bathroom suite. Flooring options range from slate, resin, tiling and wet wall paneling. The most common choice is porcelain tiles or ceramic tiling. Tiles have a range of color variety and design to choose from and they are easy to find in any bathroom cladding or decor shop. They are also durable and last for years when well-maintained. The good thing with tiles is that you can have the bathroom from the top to the floor, set in them reducing on costs in installation. The only downside of tiling is that extra care has to be taken in washing them; particularly the grout that acts as adhesive from one piece to another that can otherwise hide mould and grime. If you already have tiling for your bathroom, you can change it up and place some mosaic or collage designs in patterns. You can place the pattern to demarcate different regions in the room or simply for decorative purposes. A recent entry is vinyl flooring which is not only highly affordable but also environment friendly as well. Unlike tiling, which tends to be cold, vinyl adopts room temperature preventing you from having cold feet before or after the shower. It also avails you a range of colors and patterns giving you a wide option of interior design ideas to choose from. To get vinyl to last for many years, make sure during the installation it is laid on an even surface. Vinyl paneling can be laid on top of any other material as long as the surface is smoothened and flat. Stone is another flooring option although an ancient choice. Stone has been used for bathrooms for many years giving it the touch of experience. You can opt for the ancient roman look or the more modern stained designs. Stone is easy to clean, does not build up dirt and easy to maintain. It is costly to install but its longevity makes up for the investment. To make sure that your floor is durable and will not weather easily regardless of the option you choose, ensure that you wipe the floor after every shower to keep it clean and dry. Water breaks down any adhesives and creates water damage problems.
